At 1417hrs the Company was dispatched to a truck fire on E. Street Rd (Rt.926) east of Lenape Rd (Rt.52). Asst. 25 (McCarthy) responded and was advised by the communications center that a PECO aerial truck had caught fire in the area. Asst. 25 arrived to find a PECO bucket truck well involved, sitting under the high tension electric lines. E-25-2 (J. Knightly) and E-25-1 (Horstman) both responded with a total staff of 9. The Longwood Engine Company arrived, stretched the front bumper line and established a water supply. The fire was under control in minutes and units returned to service at 1456hrs. |
