On Tuesday morning Deputy Chief Wells and Sgt. Fuller attended a ceremony in Hockessin to meet a cardiac arrest survivor. The efforts that Deputy Chief Wells, Sgt. Fuller and FF Buddy performed that day had a direct and positive effect on saving a life.

Hazardous Weather Causes Multiple Incidents

Crews stayed busy in the region this morning responding to 4 separate incidents. Sleet and freezing rain caused icy road conditions and two accidents.

Extrication - Lenape Road
Longwood Fire Company, December 07
Crews from Longwood and Kennett worked to extricate the driver from an overturned vehicle on Lenape Road this morning. EMS units from Longwood and Good Fellowship transported the occupants of the vehicle to a local Hospital.
