Thank you to everyone who joined us for our first Town Hall meeting about Fire and EMS in the Kennett Region! Since the first meeting, our career and volunteer members have been extremely busy between calls, trainings, special events like Mushroom Festival, and supporting the law enforcement agencies working on the capture of Danelo Cavalcante. Due to these recent events, we have decided to postpone the next meeting which was scheduled for this Thursday, September 14 at 7pm.

This evening, while Engine 25-2 responded to a medical assist, Rescue 25 made a response for a tree down in the area of Fairville Road. Crews were in station training at the time which allowed for quick, simultaneous response to these calls.... (Full Story)
