Despite the elements members of Longwood Fire Company, Kennett Fire Company, and the Ephrata Fire Company all participated in water rescue training on the Susquehanna River. Crews braved fridget temperatures, wind, and cold water to refine their skills maneuvering their water crafts in the river.
