Longwood is back in the pool fill business!!!

We are pleased to announce that we have added a Tanker back into our fleet and beginning May 1st, we will begin taking requests for pool fills.

As in the past, we have a 4 load limit. The first load is $150.00, and $125.00 for each of the remaining 3 loads. The loads are 3,000 gallon each.

Longwood orders New Pierce Rescue Squad

In the early part of 2015, Longwood Fire Company signed a contract with Pierce Manufacturing to design and construct a new Rescue Squad to replace our 1999 Pierce Quantum Rescue.

In the winter of 2014, Longwood Fire Company signed a contract with Pierce Manufacturing to design and build a new fire engine to replace our 2001 Pierce Rescue-Engine.

1st Due Fire: Unit block of Twin Turns Ln.

In the late afternoon hours the Company was alerted for a brush fire in the Unit block of Twin Turns Lane.

Brush 25 responded and was immediately advised by Fireboard that the brush fire extended into the dwelling and that they were filling out the box. One trapped on Hillendale Road

1st Lieutenant Brian McCarthy, December 15

On Wednesday December 15, 2014 at about 3:30 PM, the company was dispatched to the area of Hillendale Road and McComb Lane in Kennett Township for an auto accident with entrapment. Crews arrived to find a two vehicle accident with one vehicle on its side.
