Longwood is back in the pool fill business!!!

We are pleased to announce that we have added a Tanker back into our fleet and beginning May 1st, we will begin taking requests for pool fills.

As in the past, we have a 4 load limit. The first load is $150.00, and $125.00 for each of the remaining 3 loads. The loads are 3,000 gallon each.

Hands-Only CPR Training 6/8/2015

We are pleased to announce that in partnership with Penn Medicine we will be hosting a FREE Hands-Only CPR training class on June 8th 2015. This Event will be offered in 1 hour sessions, 4:30PM - 5:30PM or 5:30PM - 6:30PM. During these sessions instructors from the Fire Company and the Hospital will present useful information regarding recognition and treatment for Sudden Cardiac Arrest. Following ... Marlbrooke Way House Fire

In the early afternoon hours, Longwood Fire Company was alerted as a part of the first alarm assignment to the 100blk of Marlbrooke Way for the house fire.

Station 36 Fire Police arrived on location and reported a working fire in an attached garage that extended into the living areas of the residence.

Mushroom Festival Grant Awarded

EMS Lieutenant Matthew Eick and his wife Lindsey attended the 30th Annual Mushroom Festival Gala on April 17th to receive a Grant on behalf on the company. Longwood was one of many Kennett area community organizations to receive a grant at the appreciation dinner. Longwood orders New Pierce Rescue Squad

In the early part of 2015, Longwood Fire Company signed a contract with Pierce Manufacturing to design and construct a new Rescue Squad to replace our 1999 Pierce Quantum Rescue.
