New Rescue Squad Placed in Service

After month's of hard work, on Tuesday the 15th Longwood Fire Company placed into service the New Rescue Squad.

Rescue 25 is a 2016 Pierce Arrow XT walk in Heavy Rescue. Rescue 25 has seating for 8 personnel and carry's a wide variety of specialty equipment. Some of the equipment includes:

6 pre connected Hurst Tools (Jaws of Life)
Over 172 pieces of wood cribbing for Stabilization

Heart Training (Hands-Only CPR Training

A Hands-Only CPR Training is scheduled at Station 25 on Monday, October 17, 2016:

Class times available are: 4:30 to 5:30 pm or

Pool Fills

It's that time of year again. Longwood is filling pools in our primary response area as well as a few neighboring township.

We use our 3,000 gallon tanker, so it takes us a little longer than our friends with the tractor trailers. House Fire Assist to Delco Co. 59: Unit block of Dogwood Hill Ln.

On 04-26-2016 at approximately 0200hrs, the First Alarm assignment in Concordville's first due was dispatched to the Unit block of Dogwood Hill Lane in Chadds Ford Township.
